Project Marigold is a new children's mental health charity with a bold strategy to provide primary school children with the emotional support they need to thrive and achieve.
Focusing on early intervention, we aim to tackle mental health challenges as they arise, to prevent further crisis and minimise the impact of poor mental health on children's education.
Why it Matters
1 in 5 children in the UK are now likely to have a mental health problem - this is a worrying figure that has doubled in the last decade.
Permanent exclusions from school increased by nearly 50 percent in the 2022-23 school year.
4 out of every 5 school staff say students behavior is affecting their own mental health and wellbeing.
