Job Title: Sessional Therapist – Creative Therapies for Primary School Children, aged 4-11 years
Location: Primary Schools across Ryedale, Scarborough, Whitby and the surrounding areas
Fee: £55 per session, plus contribution to travel expenses
Hours: Flexible, term-time delivery
Start Date: January 2026
About the Role
We are building a bank of sessional therapists to support school-based delivery. You will work directly with children referred into our programme, delivering therapeutic sessions in a safe, inclusive, and child-centred way.
We are looking for practitioners who:

Have recognised qualifications in art, play, drama therapy, child counselling or equivalent;

Are registered with a relevant UK professional body (e.g. BACP, UKCP, HCPC);

Have experience supporting primary-aged children, ideally in school settings;

Operate within safeguarding and confidentiality frameworks.
